2 – 4 months

In this first session, the baby will be a little bundle of joy an ideal time to capture them before they start to move around.

We tend to have baby mainly in a nappy (we cover nappy with various shawls and fabrics) as they are between sizes in clothes at this point and they tend to ride up around the neck.

We will also do one tummy shot, obviously depending on your baby’s development.

6 – 8 months

By the 2nd session, they will probably now be sitting up and interacting a lot more, possibly even crawling. They should be a lot more alert with plenty of smiles.

This is usually when your baby is sitting unaided and tends to be around 6 to 7 months, for this session it is worth bringing three outfits and any accessories, for example, a flat cap or bonnet. Props include wicker chair, laundry basket, suitcase, shabby chic crate!

12 – 18 months

For the third session, we will possibly see them taking their first steps and becoming very inquisitive and playful.

At around 12 months they will probably be standing but ideally before they are walking. This is a high energy fast-moving session, and we offer the option for parents to be photographed with their child. The props used in this session include a giant bean bag, a bubble machine, circle in the wall, big box and various stools and chairs.

Ideally, if you could bring along two outfits for this session and it is often best not to try and change them before the session it is ideal that they are already dressed in the first outfit.

Our Watch Me Grow sessions are on Wednesday’s and Friday’s.

You can also be entered into our monthly Photo Competition where you could win either £5,000 or a gift voucher.

You will also receive a Free gift worth £135

We've been to see Andrew twice to get some photos of our growing family. It's always a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and we have been delighted with the results of both our visits. Andrew managed to keep our two year old engaged with the process and got some beautiful shots that really captured both the children's characters. I hope we can keep coming back to get more wonderful pictures as they grow up.

Frequently asked questions.

When will I be able to view the photographs?

We know how excited you are to see the pictures; therefore, we will arrange a viewing for you as soon as is possible this will usually be one or two weeks after the session at the studio.

If you want to bring your extended family, e.g. grandparents, we would love to meet them.

Can the rest of the family be included in the photographs?

Yes, Mum, Dad and siblings can be included when we get to session three as, during the earlier stages, time does not allow it.

It is also not possible to include this in the final folio memento.

How do we book?

All of our sessions are by appointment. You can book online by selecting date and time in the Appointment calendar above.

Our contact details where you will find our address, email, phone number and social media details, all of which are great ways to discuss your upcoming portrait session.

How long are the Watch me Grow portrait sessions?

We will never rush your sitting, and we will always ensure we have enough time to create images you will love, however, as a guide would expect each of the sessions to last about one hour.
