The Fine Print
Purchase of Voucher

Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or date of receiving if a gift.

Is non-transferable.

Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, not redeemable for cash or other goods.

Cannot be used to purchase images from other sessions.

Limited to one per family, per household (any further vouchers purchased will not be honoured)

No quibble refund
If you change your mind having bought a voucher, a refund will be issued providing the voucher is returned to the studio within 2 weeks of purchase, and no appointments have been booked.

Booking deposit

Some promotional offers will require a £25 deposit or £10 Deposit. This will be credited to your order, or refunded at your viewing appointment providing you keep both the photography and viewing appointments.

If you fail to attend your appointment with no notice we reserve the right to retain all monies paid, and cancel all voucher benefits.

If you cancel within 48 hours a £25 re -arrange cancellation fee may apply depending on circumstances. We understand babies can get ill at short notice.

Portrait voucher Limits and restrictions

Photography shoots take approximately 1 hour, however this is dependent on the age of any child/children

We are able to photograph up to 25 people maximum in our studio

Shoots cannot be guaranteed if you arrive more than 30 minutes after your appointment time. In such cases we reserve the right to cancel the appointment.

In the event of a cancellation, a no show charge of £25 will apply.

By booking an appointment with Redpath Studios you are subject to the full terms and conditions.

Redpath Studios reserve the right to amend, vary or cancel the terms and conditions at any time.

Your data may be used by Redpath Studios to advise you of products, services and special promotions. We may contact you by post, SMS text, telephone or email.

Copyright of all images remains the property of Redpath Studios. Reproduction without expressed permission of all images by any means whatsoever is strictly prohibited.

If any of these terms and conditions is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or part this will not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

A person who is not party to these terms or conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts(Rights Third Party) Act 1999 to enforce any of these terms and conditions but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that act.

Terms of Sale for Purchases

Due to the custom nature of our service all ordered are non- cancellable, and the balance is due in full at viewing appointments, unless extended credit has been agreed beforehand. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return, consignment or approval basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Orders are placed immediately with our suppliers. Therefore any amendments (i.e. frame, image or mount) to an order are subject to administration charges, and any additional costs levied to us by our suppliers.

All goods remain the property of Redpath Studios until paid for in full.

In the event of payment defaults on the agreed payment, we reserve the right to debit their credit/debit card for the full amount outstanding, plus our administration costs, and any additional charges levied by the bank.

Redpath Studios reserves the right to charge interest of 8% above The Bank of England rate, where payments are late for an unreasonable period.

Sizes are approximate and in inches. They are measured from the inside rebate of the longest side of the frame, and include photograph and border.

Copyright of all images remains the property of Redpath Studios. Reproduction without the express permission of images by any means whatsoever is strictly prohibited, and is a criminal offence under the 1988 Copyright and Patents Act.

Model Release. The client grants all necessary permissions to allow Redpath Studios the use of any images created from the session to be used in displays, exhibitions, advertising and competitions. This is a rare occurrence, and where possible permission is always sought, but cannot be guaranteed.

Digital Enhancement –All images will be reproduced as seen at the viewing appointment. Any changes will only be made if specified on your order, and may be subject to an additional charge.

Colour photography is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process. We shall undertake to produce a flattering skin tone. Subsequently other colours may not reproduce accurately.

Dyes – Because dyes in colour photographic materials, like other dyes, change in time, we will guarantee all wall art against such change for a period of 10 years.

Liability – We take all reasonable efforts to protect your images, however our liability for loss or damage of any image is accordingly limited to re-photographing.

Delivery – Whilst delivery dates will be adhered to as much as possible they do not constitute part of the contract.

Collection of order – All orders must be collected from the studio by the client, and signed inspected and approved before removal from the premises.

Complaints – In the event of any unsatisfactory work, all products must be returned complete with packaging and the appropriate invoice within 3 days of collection.

Force Majeure – Every effort will be made to fulfil all orders placed, but completion of them is subject to variation or cancellation owing to an act of God, war strikes, fire or any cause beyond our control.
Copyright License that applies to a purchased CD.
•  The license once purchased gives permission to produce prints for themselves, their family and friends.
•   There is no limit to the number of prints that can be made.
•   Although these files have been corrected for colour, quality and density, Redpath Studios cannot be held responsible for the quality of prints produced on home printers or external developers.
•   You can make as many copies as required, but are responsible for communicating the limitations below:-
– The photographs or file must not be used for advertising or commercial use.
– The photographs or files must not be sold or transferred to a third party without prior written permission from Redpath Studios.
– You may use the photographs or files on a personal website or social networking site providing they are credited to Redpath Studios.
•   The copyright of all images remains with Redpath Studios.
SAFEGUARDING AND ARCHIVING OF DIGITAL FILES
•   You, the client, accept responsibility for file archiving and preservation. Please be aware that storage devices fail and technology changes over time. Treat your files carefully, make a backup copy and store in a safe place – replacements will be charged at full value.
•   Redpath Studios may not retain copies of these files indefinitely.
• If you have requested and have agreed additional retouching e.g removing a birthmark, etc. Again this is your responsibility to check that this has been done on receipt. If not a charge may be made, if this is brought to our attention a few weeks down the line.
•   Please ensure that you check them on receipt, copy them and archive them accordingly.
