We appreciate life can be very hectic at the moment, so we hope your managing to get some sleep!
We would love to take some pictures of your baby and enter them into the competition. You are under no obligation to enter the competition if you just want pictures that is fine.
I love taking pictures of babies, probably about 6,000 and counting. For some reason, babies like me, and my crazy noises and props I use to get them to smile. Parent’s crack up when I make my duck noise you’ve been warned!!
We are a baby-friendly studio, having changing facilities and a microwave if required, parking directly outside all on one level.
Babies change so much in their first year, and many mum’s and dads try us out with this offer and get to know, like and trust us and often come back with their second and even third child. Many come back and take part in a Cake Smash session or join our Watch Me Grow club.
Your Baby of the Month Session
There is no charge for the sitting with this offer.
Just a reminder of what is included:
- A phone consultation to help you select clothing.
- A one-hour photography session with up to three outfit changes.
- A Photography gift.
- A personalised viewing appointment
- A £25 credit towards any additional pictures if booked within seven days.
- An opportunity to enter the Baby of the Month national competition where you could win 1 of 5 £100 Boots vouchers.
- A chance to win the annual grand prize of £5,000.
- A Cuddly child-friendly Elephant toy (Tembo) if you make a charity donation of £1.50
- The judging panel is independent, made up from mums and representatives from the industry.
You will need to come to our studio in Chenies WD3 6EP near Little Chalfont and Rickmansworth and then return a week or so later to view the pictures or view via zoom.
At the viewing, you can choose the photo to enter, into the competition.
At this time, you will have the opportunity to buy any other photos you like, and they start from £35.
We are even offering a credit for £25 towards an additional product if you make a booking in the next seven days.
I am sure you will love the photos and want to buy some, but there is no hard sell.
This video gives you a bit more information about the studio and Baby of the month, and I am presenting it, I kept messing it up, so it is not the slickest thing ever made, but hopefully, it will put a name to a face
We now shoot with COVID 19 safeguards in place.
We are only doing two sessions a day so we can deep clean and steam clean all props and use different blankets for each baby etc. We keep the barn door open and studio well ventilated have enough room to stay at a safe distance. All surfaces are steam cleaned or wiped with bleach after each session.

Step 1
You will need to register
To have your baby take part in this lovely competition, you will need to register using the secure scheduling form below.
Just pick a date and time and enter your details.
Due to high demand, we only have a few sessions available, and best of all, it is FREE.
Step 2
Come to your Photo Session
When you arrive for your photo session, all we ask is that you donate £1.50 to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. We will, during the session, take a variety of delightful photographs.
This will give you plenty of choice for your entry.
Step 3
Choose your Entry
We will arrange with you to view the photographs about two weeks after the portraits were taken. From the selection, you will be able to choose the photograph you would like to enter, into the Baby of the Month competition.
You will also receive Tembo the soft and very cuddly elephant as a thank you for your donation.
Step 4
Monthly Competition
The photograph you chose is entered into the competition on FaceBook. It is judged by a panel of top photographers, by public vote and your friends and family by liking and sharing.
Five monthly winners receive a £100 Boots Voucher, and there are also several runners up prizes.
Step 5
Baby of the Year
The five monthly competition winners are all entered into the grand annual competition – Baby of the Year.
It is always a difficult choice, but after lots of deliberation a winning baby is chosen as the Baby of the Year, and they will receive £5000.

What an exceptional service from Andrew! Made our baby girl who was 5 months at the time laugh and smile so easily and we felt at ease knowing she was happy and comfortable in front of the camera. We adore the pictures, very high quality. We photographed our daughter in her christening gown which was 35 years old (family heirloom) and he captured it beautifully. I only noticed her hat was on the wrong way round after Andy had packed up for the day but he set everything back up and re-shot with the hat on correctly, very professional and clearly wants to make his customers happy. He takes pride in his work that is evident. If you want your baby to feel relaxed in a happy environment, look no further. Highly recommend.

When will I be able to view the photographs?
We know how excited you are to see the pictures; therefore, we will arrange a viewing for you as soon as is possible this will usually be one or two weeks after the session at the studio after we have put the finishing touches to them.
If you want to bring your extended family, e.g. grandparents, we would love to meet them.
How long are the Baby of the Month portrait sessions?
Your Emma’s Diary Portrait session will last approximately one-hour.
